I just finished watching the animated short film titled “Sintel” which was produced by the Blender Foundation. I think they did an amazing job with the film story wise, but the main purpose of the film was to advertise Blender and show the power of the software which they did very successfully. I knew Blender was a powerful tool but I never imagined that it was this advanced, I was really impressed by the film and I recommend everybody watch it. The geeks like me will appreciate the animation and everybody else will appreciate the good story. You can read more about the film and its creators at sintel.org
